2024 Provincial Training | Henan 2024 Vocational College "Dual-Teacher" Training Program
From August 12 to 16, 2024, Wintour was invited to participate in the Henan Province Vocational College "Dual-Teacher" Teacher Training Program, where they conducted a specialized course module on "Core Skills Enhancement" for over 40 instructors in hotel management and digital operations. On August 12, Dr. Yang Yongbiao, a senior industry expert, was invited by Wintour to deliver insightful presentations on two key topics: improving the professional competencies of hotel management instructors and designing digital teaching models, along with the digital transformation of hotel operations in the digital era. Dr. Yang emphasized that the development of digital courses involves "integrating traditional courses into the digital realm, creating new courses focused on digital operations." By using modular courses and incorporating three methods—"case digitization," "project digitization," and "data course development"—the courses are upgraded digitally.
Teachers actively participated in learning and sharing during the sessions
On August 13, Dr. Zhao Limin shared her expertise in scenario-based simulation and case-based teaching design, using the core course "Hotel Supervision Management" from the Hotel Management Digital Operations program as an example. Dr. Zhao first identified the shortcomings in the course design through an analysis of the "Hotel Supervision Communication Skills" course syllabus. She then delved into teaching strategies that make lessons engaging for students.
Dr. Zhao’s presentation addressed customer needs from three angles
By focusing on "pain points," "itch points," and "pleasure points," Dr. Zhao utilized Wintour's scenario simulation platform and tools to conduct practical course teaching. She also employed the "Skyscraper" game to guide teachers in constructing their ideal hotel based on aesthetics, stability, and height.

Dr. Zhao shared practical insights with the groups during the simulation-based course.
On August 14, Mr. Zhang Feng, Vice General Manager and Technical Director at Wintour, discussed "AIGC Tourism and Hotel Professional Teaching Resource Development and Sharing." He enabled the teachers to grasp the applications of AIGC in course design, case study development, and interactive teaching. During the practical session, teachers worked in groups to create a two-hour classroom teaching plan using AIGC tools, which they then presented in a group PPT format, enhancing their understanding of AI's role in supporting and expanding educational practices.
Mr. Zhang Feng shared tasks related to experimental and practical training
From August 15 to 16, Ms. Huang Wanmin, Vice General Manager and Director of Teaching Operations at Wintour, led sessions on project-based and case-based teaching methods. These sessions focused on core courses such as "Hotel Digital Marketing" and "Customer Relationship Management." The teachers engaged in hands-on projects and practical exercises that reflected real industry needs. They visited a local high-star hotel to complete tasks related to "Hotel Room Product Information Compilation."
Ms. Huang Wanmin shared insights on digital courses and tools for the tourism and hotel industry.
Wintour's involvement in the National Training Program not only deepened the teachers' understanding of the application and benefits of digital teaching methods but also helped them quickly adapt to and master these approaches.
